Lisa Shamer's career began in the jewelry industry in 1973. She is a Certified Gemologist in both diamond and precious stones (GIA Certification by the Gemological Institute of America). She has worked in Boston, NYC and Providence, RI. After retiring in 1995 from the wholesale diamond business, Lisa's interest turned to her passion...designing handcrafted jewelry. She has created several distinct styles of jewelry, working with Sterling Silver, Gold and Gold filled beads and wire.
